If you're looking for quiet, clean fun that your neighbors will love...then the electric models are for you!  They are, however, a bit more expensive than their gas-powered cousins.  There is one major choice to make when it comes to the electric models; deciding between the two types of batteries: Sealed lead-acid (SLA) or Lithium-based (Li-Po/Li-Ion).
​-SLA's main advantage are their low cost.  The flip side is that they are heavy and have a shorter lifespan than Lithium batteries.
-Lithium batteries main advantages are their lighter weight, long run-time and longer lifespan; with the flipside that they are more expensive.

These electric models are very high quality, and that is reflected in their price.  You could buy any cheap scooter online, but none of them will match the quality, performance or range of a Go-Ped brand scooter.  These models are designed for fun but also for long distance cruising.
